This hands-on course teaches foster parents how to support decompression, prevent escapes, and keep even the most skittish dogs safe. Learn real-life strategies and leave with tools you’ll use every day.

$20 registration includes over $40 in take-home safety equipment.

Stay Secure: A Safety Course for Dog Sitters and Walkers
This hands-on course teaches pet care professionals how to prevent escapes, handle emergencies, and keep even the most skittish dogs safe. Participants gain a one-year certification and the option to be listed on the TRAPS website as a trusted sitter or walker.

$75 registration includes safety equipment, light lunch, and a donation to the Humane Society.

This refresher course is for sitters and walkers who previously completed the Stay Secure safety course. It includes updated best practices, a review of key safety protocols, and real-world case insights.
